If the goal of a music class is to passionately engage children in the joy of listening, dancing and creating music
together, there is no one better....
- Brad Choyt, Head of School, Blue School, NYC

SUMMARY
MIXED AGED CLASSES - INFANTS - 5YRS

  • These fully interactive classes are performed live on guitar and drums.
  • Families gain the ability to embrace the love and joy of creating music together.
  • Our material and curriculum are sculpted to inspire an outlet for interactive singing, beat making, dramatic play and dancing to rhythms.
  • Everyone is a performer in the class.
  • We incorporate individual instruments and props for each child. (Scroll down to see list.)
  • We employ a wide variety of exciting tools to keep the class intriguing & fresh.

Overall, this infectious energy inspires a musical bond between the child and caregiver that follows their path from the classroom into the home.

why?

WHY THIS CLASS? - It's fun & it cares.
         We Care:
We use first names, we smile, we observe, we
react, we target your child's needs and interests
   and instill confidence and comfort.
         Music is FUN:
Our Goal: Music is fun, "Mr. Michael is fun, he
plays music, I can play music too." When we are
through we want the children and parents
   begging for music lessons.

what?

WHAT TO EXPECT? A Discovery & A Celebration
        A DISCOVERY:
What is that? How does it work? Grab a triangle, a
tambourine, a bongo, a djembe; smack it, slap it,
strike it, question it. That's how we learn.

        A CELEBRATION:
Smile, get up, get down, shake a shaker, put a
scarf over your head and boogie.
    Children learn from example.

        PARTICIPATION:
Preschool of Rock classes feed on family
participation. The more we do the more they do.
We want everyone singing, drumming, dancing and     laughing. Then bring the party home with
